Arrested With 5 AK47 Rifles In Imo State

With 5 AK47 Rifles, Guns They Bought For Biafran Group Detectives appended to the Mon­itoring Unit of the Imo State police order have arrest­ed two General Overseers (GO) for charged gunrunning. The sus­pects, Clifford Nmenabu, originator, God Covenant of Christ the King Sabbath Missionary and Festus Daniel Igwe of Zion House of Prayer Sabbath Mission­ary were charged to have secured five AK47 rifles for utilization amid the forthcom­ing general races. Talking on how the suspects were busted, the state Commissioner of Police, Abdulmajid Ali told Saturday Sun that the charge followed up on a tip-off which indi­cated that the suspects had procured a few guns. As per him:”On February 13, 2015, policemen drove by the officer responsible for the Monitoring Unit, Superin­tendent of Police, Linus Nwaiwu raged their holy places in Oru East Local Govern­ment Area, captured and recouped all the firearms.” CP Ali clarified that throughout in­vestigation, it was found that the cler­ics were shrunk by one Mr K. Nnamdi who they claim is situated in London. “The two priests were given a development money of N300,000 for 10 bits of AK 47 rifles and to be given a money parity of N1.2million when they convey.
